About UsIn 1980, Jack and Vikki Flam established Delta Mailbox Sales, but its roots go back to the 1950s, when mailbox repair and replacement were provided as a service at our family-owned locksmith company. Back then, we only sold what was locally available, because there were not many differences in the old style boxes. All that changed in the 1970s, however, when the United State Postal Regulations required new sizes and styles and increased the demand for replacement mailboxes. In turn this gave rise to new manufacturers, different levels of quality and price, new installation requirements—and more confusion for multi-unit building owners and builders. Today, 21 years later, Delta Mailbox Sales is the largest distributor of all major brands in the United States. And because we install and repair mailboxes, we have witnessed the success and failure of every brand manufactured and we know first hand why some mailboxes are better than others!
